The Banyan Golf Club located within Hua Hin got opened in October of 2008. The course offers spectacular oceanic and mountain views from most holes, being one of the best layouts within the area. It was awarded as the Best New Golf Course in 2009, which was based upon votes cast by Asian Golf Monthly magazine readers. There are 6 tee boxes on every hole, an action which makes the course either easier or tougher relative to ones tee selection and playing ability. Water hazards are positioned at strategic locations, together with waste bunkers plus sand traps which are spread out everywhere around the course.
The 15th signature hole comprises of a par-3 139 yard shot which features outstanding views of the ocean up to Singtoh Island within the Thai Gulf region. The par-5 montster hole 12 is an all-uphill 610 yards, rendering it challenging to even the most refined talent in golf. Sloping fairways, elevated greens plus greenside bunker complexes are the features of other holes. Facilities for practice available include grass-driving range together with 2 large chipping and putting greens. A contemporary Thai-styled clubhouse greets arrival of guests at the Banyan golf course, which carries multiple first-class utilities.
