Opened in 1998, Chuan Chuen Golf Club was designed by Nick Faldo and is located in Bangkok. Built on an enormous housing estate, the course found near the old Don Muang Airport is surrounded by many old trees and numerous birds. Players of all handicaps can play at this course. The fairways are well kept, holes have water hazards surrounding them and greens are flat, small and fast. Players must make accurate tee shots to get past the doglegs and score well. Play on the par-3 6th that lies at 173 yards, is influenced by strong prevailing winds. Players need to steer clear of the water and deep bunkers found infront of and to the right of this hole respectively. Otherwise, if the ball gets caught in one of these, they will get a bogey or worse. The tricky, short par-5 12th offers a breathtaking view of the lake on the right of the fairway. To get a good second shot, players need to hit the ball to the left to avoid the dogleg and water. The clubhouse is equipped with a Thai restaurant and locker rooms all in adequate condition.
