Kiarti Thanee Country Club is situated very near central Bangkok off the elevated highway It is very popular among the local Japanese golfers, both high handicappers and inexperienced golfers. Golfers can very easily access the course from Bangkok or on their way to or from the airport. Players can golf in a relaxing manner due to the wide fairways particularly on the back nine which permit average golfers to be on or near the green and still be within the rules of the course. The golf course has some challenges: numerous water hazards and enormous waste bunkers that are make the game somewhat challenging to the more experienced golfers. In 2004, Japanese designer Kato Yoshikazu renovated the golf course, making the back tees a lot tougher. Completing the course is a par-5 462 yard, 18th hole. Experienced golfers can reach this hole in two. The finishes can be as dramatic as possible even in the event that a player has a 2 stoke lead to get into the last hole. Kiarti Thanee has a grass driving range, two putting greens and a chipping and pitching green. These features make this golf course suitable for instruction, golf practice and lessons.
