The Krung Kavee golf course was designed by Manabu Sakamoto is characteristically long. The course is situated on a big private housing estate near the old domestic Don Muang airport. 'Green' maintenance and the lack of herbicides and pesticides has resulted in well kept playing surfaces. The sub-surface drainage system ensures that there is no stagnant water especially during the rainy season. All types of golfers can make use of the reasonably sized island green par 3. Like all golf courses built on former rice fields, Krung Kavee has water hazards made of both man-made and natural lakes and ponds. The par 4, 6th, 7th and 8th holes present a challenge and need a long play. Greens are fairly flat and run fast and true. The numerous water hazards run adjacent to the holes necessitating long water carries. The clubhouse is small and satisfactory has a beautiful view of the canal and the golf course. Its showers and locker rooms are small therefore are suitable for fewer people at a time. The best Thai food in northern Bangkok can be found at the Rangsit Kitchen. The onsite restaurant serves sea food dishes, fresh vegetables, soups and curries all made with fresh ingredients. Bangkok golfers who wish to have an all rounded golfing experience should visit Krung Kavee.
