The 36-hole Lam Luk Ka Country Club offers the best golfing experience. It has two 18-hole courses. The course is surrounded by Bangkok's wetlands and numerous trees which provide a home to many species of wildlife and birds. One any particular day, one of four nine-hole loops is used. The A-B nines are on the Championship East Course and the C-D nines are on the Resort West Course with the East course being longer than the West. Water hazards along the fairways are a common occurrence on these courses. The greens offer one of the best putting surfaces in Bangkok. They are well bunkered and lie on a slope. Players need to drive the ball long and straight on the Championship East Course. This course was the host of the 2002 Thailand PGA Championship and the 2009 Asian Tour qualifying events and promises to be challenging but exciting. The West Course, although shorter, is better to all players. Water hazards can be found on 15 holes and calls for excellent course management. The clubhouse offers players with relaxation after a round on the course. Players can make use of the Olympic-size swimming pool, eat International and Thai dishes at the restaurant and the practice facilities such as two chipping and putting greens and a grass driving range.
