To the east of Bangkok and 50 minutes from Suvanabhumi International Airport is the Lotus Valley Golf Resort. The course is among the few designed by Gary Player in Asia. With two conventional loops of nine hole the course has a championship length of 6,955 yards and is a par 72. Players will face a different challenge on every hole and can hit a par to the green or a get a chance at a birdie. Water hazards are present on every hole. The greens have close-cut fairways and fringes, an aspect that is characteristic of Player and can be found on traditional Scottish courses. The clubhouse is modern and has a spacious lobby and entrance. Other amenities found in the clubhouse include locker rooms with Japanese baths, a pro shop and the Lotus Restaurant which serves Western, Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes. Players can relax unhindered in the expansive restaurant. The golf resort has adopted the cashless policy where players can make use of a day passport which they receive upon registration. This passport can be used to make purchases on the course and in the clubhouse. Upon checkout, players can pay their bills.
