Palm Hills Golf Club is found in-between Cha Am and Hua Hin, close to the airport, upon lower foot hills over-town. This course was the first standard international one for golfing, being opened in 1992 and hosting inaugural Thailand World Pro Am tournament the year following.
Its Scottish feel arises from getting laid out upon long strip of undulating terrain that is different from all others within the area. The layout of Max Wexler operates east to west having lakes at either end being separated by clubhouse, with captivating outcrop extending from Mountain range.
Palm Hills features multiple hundred palm trees and many hillside lies, where the golf club got its name. There are frangipani trees of bright color and bougainvillea shrubs that add to natural beauty of the golfing course.
The back nine holes offer stunning views of Thai and Hua Hin Gulf. Palm Hills forms one of the courses easier to challenge. Bermuda fairways are both wide and generous, which many golfers enjoy.
The 10th through 14th holes are your best ones and need significantly accurate shot placement. Long par-3 uphill 11th hole makes it the signature one, which requires club-above-normal play at least to reach within regulation.
