Panya Indra Golf Club is the brainchild of Ronald Fream. The course is situated to the north of Bangkok in Ram Indra. Panya Indra is made up of 3 separate 9-hole championship courses i.e. the Lagoon Course, the Garden Course and the Palm Course. The course's landscape is covered with flowering plants, bushes and shrubs. It also has undulating, palm tree lined fairways, ponds, lakes and nicely curved bunkers. Contoured and testing holes await you no matter which course you choose to play. Water hazards are found on all three but more on the Lagoon course. A challenge is most noticeable on the par-3 holes, four of which require a shot over water. The Palm Course has a par-3 4th hole on an island green. The three courses have testing dog-leg holes, open fairways that have clover-leaf bunkering to define the holes. The greens though fascinating are challenging. The putting surfaces can be fairly small and are not at all flat. The course is well-maintained all year round to make it appealing to the government officials and local business executives who come to play here. Night golf is possible with the floodlights. The clubhouse houses the restaurants and locker rooms all of which are of the best quality.
